The four courses of action of the
Social Change Hub

Supporting enterprises and "startups" for social change

Through the grant of "seed money" the Social Change Hub supports social workers and students in funding actions aimed to change policy and in facilitating the establishment of relevant social enterprises. Each year, five promising policy change projects are selected by the Steering Committee from among the various applicants.

Development of knowledge and tools for social change

This area of activity includes:

A. Access to up-to-date knowledge and guidance.

B. Support for policy change research. The support is designed to develop and produce advanced models for data change policy.

C. Support and mentoring by senior professionals. Coordinated by the hub's manager, and will include monthly meetings of social workers with government, third and private sector officials: lecturers, consultants, social activists and policy makers.

The annual conference of the Social Change Hub

The annual conference provides a platform for the presentation of policy change projects and social enterprises led by the social workers and participating students. The conference will become the main annual event for women and social workers in Israel who want to learn about practices for changing policy and social entrepreneurship in their field.

A program to support social change activities of  Social activists for excluded communities

A unique program (Activist-in-Residence) that allows each year a number of leading social activists, who are interested in researching and promoting policy change and establishing social enterprises, researching and deepening social problems and policy failures, while having the opportunity to be involved in the social work school community. And accompaniment of projects created by students). The program will work to strengthen the capabilities of activists in promoting policy change and establishing social enterprises and it expresses the incubator's commitment to active social involvement with and for underprivileged populations.
